Who this story is for
How Rona Became a Fairy is a gentle story for children and the adults who care for them—especially when a family is navigating loss, remembering someone they love, or trying to begin a difficult conversation.
The Story Behind the Story
After my daughter Rona died at six, people often asked how I found my footing. Imagination played a big role. Rona dreamed of being a fairy and believed wholeheartedly in magic. This book grew from that connection—not to explain loss, but to offer children and adults a gentle, imaginative way to talk about love, memory, and what remains.
